I study now at a university. I investigate materials called the aerogel using the aramid fiber there. The aerogel is madreporite of the low density with high ratio surface area. Because the pore of the aerogel is very small, and the motion of molecules in the pore is limited, the thermal conductivity becomes small. Therefore the application to an insulation material or a filter is expected.
The aerogel can be roughly divided into two types. One is inorganic aerogel such as the silica aerogel consisting of silicon dioxides. There is organic aerogel such as the cellulose aerogel consisting of the cellulose one more. The inorganic aerogel is superior in heat resistance, but it lacks in flexibility, and there is a fault to be fragile. The organic aerogel has the flexibility firmly, but it has a characteristic to have a low heat resistance. Therefore, in my study, I use Kevlar which is para-aramid fiber superior in strength and a coefficient of elasticity, heat resistance. By doing so it, I expected to create the aerogel that strength was heat-resistant and was superior , and was flexible. In structure decision of the aerogel, a cooling condition is greatly related. It becomes the wet gel which physical bridging was formed by cooling the aramid fiber which heat with a solvent and stirred. The wet gel is dried using super critical carbon dioxide. A mind liquid interface is caused by a solvent and air in the gel by the drying, and the gel is shrinks and structure is usually destroyed by the evaporation of the solvent. However, I can change a solvent in the gel into gas continually without producing boundary tension by using supercritical fluids. My main research is to fibrose with aramid aerogel. The organic aerogel is superior to inorganic aerogel in flexibility, but the flexibility is limited in the state of the lump. I can expect that to give a new property and aggregate to hold more functionally and more flexibly by fibrosing. Thus, I created simple device manufacture for gel fiber yarn. I make the gel fiber which changed a yarn condition by using this device and investigate influence to give to structure of the aerogel after the super critical drying.

I am Arata Uchimura. I am a graduate student in the fiber field at university. I am from Fuji city in Shizuoka and have lived while watching Mt. Fuji everyday. I have climbed Mt. Fuji in the past, but I could not reach the summit of bad weather. I also want to challenge the summit push if there is opportunity.My hobby is playing the guitar. I started when I was a junior high school student. Until I was a high school student, I practiced well and I had opportunities to play in public. However, I became a college student and started to live alone in an apartment, and I am getting less concerned about the noise becoming annoying to the neighbors and gradually playing it. I also like reading. I read various genres such as suspense and SF, and also read the light novel. But I do not read manga much. I feel comfortable because I finish reading the manga soon. I am basically an indoor person, but I also like to play outside. I especially like tennis in sports. I started playing tennis when I was an elementary school student. I belonged to the tennis club when I was a junior high school student. At that time, I had tried hard to play tennis and was a regular member of club. I belonged to the Kendo club when I was a high school student. So tennis became a hobby area. I sometimes played tennis after I became a college student, and I belonged to a tennis circle for a while. Recently I am interested in traveling. Unfortunately I can not afford to have money and time so do not go far. I think I can not afford any more time than now, but I hope to travel to various places if I can economically afford in the future.
